BeU Wellness Center to Provide a Stress-Free Oasis of Yoga and Self Care in the Heart of Manhattan

Maryna Volivetska, Founder, BeU Wellness Center

Grand Opening of 4000-sq.-ft. site to be held November 9th

There are few places on the planet that have more people in need of some calming self-care than downtown Manhattan. On Nov. 9, the BeU Wellness Center will open its doors at 160 Broadway, 4th floor, East Building to provide these stressed out business professionals and parents an oasis amidst the noise of the city via its expansive selection of yoga classes and spa services – with available childcare.

A grand opening ceremony will be held Thursday (Nov. 7) from 6 to 8 p.m. and an open house will be held Saturday (Nov. 9) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday (Nov. 10) from 9 a.m. to 5 featuring free classes. Details are available at www.beunewyork.com.

The modern and luxurious 4,000-square-foot BeU Wellness Center is Maryna Volivetska’s dream realized. A native of Kiev, Ukraine, she studied yoga for six years at the Ukrainian Federation of Yoga and then earned her MBA before moving to the United States in 2012. She furthered her yoga training at NY’s Sonic Yoga School and became a certified instructor. Yet the path to this weekend’s grand opening was anything but smooth.

Today Maryna credits that struggle and her ability to tackle every obstacle that stood in her way with broadening her vision for her business and reinforcing her belief in yoga’s transformative powers.

“I’ve been through a lot in the past several years but yoga was truly my saving grace. I created BeU to not only share with clients the power of yoga to help them persevere and flourish but also as a place where relationships can grow and where they can build community,” she explained. “Parents, singles, couples and children all can replenish their inner selves through the rest, relaxation and holistic health practices taught and offered at BeU.”

BeU is staffed by a team of certified yoga instructors, aestheticians, and nannies. Yoga classes include Hatha, Vinyasa, Prenatal, Prenatal & ME, Restorative and Kids. Spa services include Reiki as well as hair and nail services for both adults and children. Private yoga classes are also available as well as hourly nanny supervision per hour and even family workshops. BeU also offers scholarships for free yoga classes to domestic abuse survivors.

“We live in one of the greatest cities in the world but we all need an escape from the commotion to re-center ourselves, gain peace and tap into our inner strength. BeU is the place to do that and we invite our fellow New Yorkers to come check us out,” added Maryna.
